World-class quality
There’s so much exciting development happening in Norwegian cider production, with more and more producers entering the scene.
Cider has been produced in Norway for hundreds of years. Norwegian cider is therefore not a new phenomenon, but its popularity continues to grow.
The most well-known ciders likely come from Hardanger and Sogndal, which have Protection of Geograpichal Designations, in addition to many award-winning products.
Around 40,000 apple trees have already been planted here in Trøndelag, making it exciting to watch the development of Central Norwegian cider in the years to come.
